    TAKE A LOOK

    TODDLER CREATIVE MOVEMENT PROGRAM

    Students will participate in one 1 hour class each week and will learn basic steps and terminology. The class is broken down into two 30 minute segments. This class is set in a fun, vibrant and loving atmosphere incorporating props and games to gain improvement in each child's motor & social skills.

    Classes include basic movement that will introduce the following dance styles through out the year:

    • Jazz & Tap included from (Sept-June) students will receive 2 custom made costumes for this recital 
    • Hip-Hop is included from (Sept-Dec) students will receive 1 custom made costume for this event
    • African is included from (Jan-Feb) students will receive 1 custom made costume for this production
    • Each family will receive 5 family tickets for the June recital. Tickets for our December family event & February Black History production are not included in the overall fee but can be purchased at will when available.

    MOVERS & SHAKERS PROGRAM

    This is our standard full for students age 5-18 package program. BALLET is NOT included for students under age 7.

    All other classes listed below with the exception of Ballet are included for students age (5-6).

    • Technique, Jazz/Open, Tap & Ballet included all season (Sept-June) students will receive 3 costumes for this recital
    • Hip-Hop is included all season (Sept-June) students will receive 1 costume for this event
    • African is included from (Jan-Feb) students will receive 1 costume for this production
    • Students age 7 and older participate in 4 hours of classes per week. Students age 5-6 participate in three 30 minute segments on Saturday's. Please request a class schedule by calling the studio or emailing us.
    • Each family will receive 5 family tickets for the June recital. Tickets for our December family event & February Black History production are not included in the overall fee but can be purchased at will when available.

    CHILDREN'S LITURGICAL DANCE MINISTRY PROGRAM

    The Liturgical dance program at Stajez is a ministry whose purpose is for the development, growth, and creative expression of worship and praise unto God through the instruments of liturgical dance and pageantry (flags, banners, streamers, and other worship tools). Students will learn some techniques in ballet, modern, jazz, African, and Hip Hop while connecting movements to the Word of God. Scripture: “For in Him we live and move and have our being……” Acts 17:28a

    TUMBLING PROGRAM

    The Tumbling program is a great way to build self-esteem in your child while learning motor skills, gaining flexibility and having fun. This program is broken down into three levels and two sessions per year.

    • Level One: students this is a beginner level class for toddlers and students up to age 5. Students will learn splits, straddles, small jumps (tucks & straddles), heel stretches, bridges, front & back rolls, Cartwheels, handstands and crab walks. These students perform in one recital held in June.
    • Level two: students are for intermediate level students age 6-12. Students learn splits, straddles, small jumps (tucks & straddles), heel stretches, bridges, front & back rolls, Cartwheels, handstands and crab walks. These students perform in two recitals.
    • Level Three: students are our more advanced students. Students learn splits, straddles, small jumps (tucks & straddles), heel stretches, bridges, front & back rolls, Cartwheels, handstands, crab walks, round offs, front flips, back flips and more. These students perform in three recitals, compete and perform in special events. Students must be invited into this program. 

    STARTER PROGRAMS (Choose one class to focus on)

    Hip-Hop-Step-Jazz-Ballet-African-Tap

    This program is for students who may only want to participate in ONE style as a focus or recreation. Students can select one style & attend once a week for a one hour class. Students can participate in each recital but is not mandatory. Parents are responsible to purchase costumes per recital & 5 tickets to the June recital. If your child will be participating in our December family event & February Black History production tickets can be purchased at will when available. PROGRAM COST IS $40.00 PER MONTH . Please see other details and cost below on our program price sheet.

    SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

     

    Students can select one dance style for the year with the option to transfer to another class/genre. The scholarship program does not include Tumbling, Modeling or Music program.Legal documentation must be provided to be considered.Lessons are FREE.

    Parents are responsible for all other cost that consist of class uniform, recital tickets & recital costumes per recital.

    TUITION TERM: This agreement is for a term period of 10 months per family/child. The program is broken into three sessions. You will be committed to the agreement until the end of each session. You have the option to terminate the agreement when the session has ended. You must provide us with a 30 day notice to terminate if your child will not be continuing through the next scheduled session. The 30 day termination notice must be submitted prior to the end of the session currently attending. Without the 30 day notice you will be required to pay through the end of the next session.  All fees must be paid in full upon termination. If fees are not paid in full your account & contract will be submitted to our collections agency.

    • SESSION ONE: September 9th 2017 through December 31st. 2017
    • SESSION TWO: January 6th 2018 – March 31st 2018  
    • SESSION THREE: April 1st 2018 – June 23rd 2018 

    PAYMENT OPTION: You have the option to pay per month ONLY through automatic debit withdraw with a debit or credit card on file. The monthly tuition is due on the first Saturday of each month. You may also make full payment at registration and receive a 10% discount. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS OR CASH ON TUITION PAYMENTS.

    PAYMENT GUIDELINES: Our goal is to have you contact us if your credit card information changes, but we understand that life happens and you may forget to update us. If your payment/card on file is declined for the reasons below, as a ONE-TIME courtesy, you will not be charged a late fee.

    • Expiration date needs to be updated

    • Card cancelled/new card issues due to loss, theft, or change of financial institution

    • Date entry issue on our end

    • If your card declines a 2nd time, the following will occur:

    • Your account will be charged an additional late fee of $25 per family.

    If your card declines a 3rd time, the following will occur: 

    • Your account will be charged an additional late fee of $25 per family; and

    • Your account will be charged for the current month and the following month. Any additional declines will result in forfeiture of your child’s slot within the program. These payment guidelines are to ensure that we are able to provide your children a great dance education.

    REFERRAL POLICY: If you refer a new student to the program you will receive $40.00 off of your total account balance. You can refer as many new students as you like throughout the year. Your referral must pay their registration/start -up fee in order for your account to be credited. This is a token of our appreciation.

    SIBLING DISCOUNTS: There is a $25 family deduction for each additional siblings. Parent/Legal guardian must present with BIRTH CERTIFICATES for each child at registration along with parent picture ID and proof of address. This is for SIBLINGS ONLY

    REFUND POLICY: There are NO REFUNDS, credits, exchanges or transfers on any accounts. This includes classes, tickets, costumes, accessories, etc.  

    COSTUME PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

    • First payment due September 2, 2017

    • Second payment due January 6, 2018

    • Final payment due April 7, 2018

    • Specialty program costumes will be determined prior to each recital as required.

    RECITAL TICKETS:

    • Christmas and Black History Recitals-Tickets for these recitals are not required as a part of your tuition. Tickets can be purchased upon availability prior to the show.

    • June Recital-Each family is required to purchase 5 recital tickets for the June production. This payment ($125.00) will be deducted from all accounts on June 2, 2018

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION:

    • EARLY ENROLLMENT FEE: $40.00 PER STUDENT (BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1st)

    • LATE ENROLLMENT FEE:   $50.00 PER STUDENT & FIRST MONTH TUITION (AFTER SEPTEMBER 1st)

    • A COMPLETED APPLICATION PER STUDENT

    • A SIGNED LIABILITY FORM/WAIVER PER STUDENT

    • A COMPLETED CREDIT CARD FORM PER FAMILY
